Itinerary

Begin your adventure at Marangu Gate, trekking through the rainforest to Mandara Hut. Spot vibrant bird species and possibly some blue monkeys as you acclimate for the night.

Trek through Kilimanjaro’s moorlands, arriving at Horombo Hut. Enjoy views of Mawenzi Peak, and acclimate overnight at the hut.

Spend a full day at Horombo Hut, with optional hikes around the area. This day improves acclimatization and boosts chances for a successful summit.
