Itinerary

Take on the 7-day Lemosho Route, exploring Kilimanjaro’s distinct ecosystems and maximizing your summit chances with this strategic itinerary.

Begin at Londorossi Gate and trek through the lush rainforest, spotting unique flora and fauna as you ascend to Mti Mkubwa Camp.

Traverse through heather and moorland, ascending to the Shira Plateau with stunning views en route to Shira 1 Camp.

Continue across the scenic Shira Plateau, acclimatizing to the altitude and enjoying views of the Tanzanian plains before reaching Shira 2 Camp.

Ascend to the Lava Tower for acclimatization, then descend to Barranco Camp with spectacular views of the Great Barranco Wall and surrounding glacial landscape.

Climb the Barranco Wall and continue to Karanga Camp, an excellent spot for acclimatization and resting before the higher ascent.

Trek from Karanga to Barafu Camp, your base camp for the summit attempt. Spend the afternoon resting and preparing for the midnight ascent.

Begin your midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After a successful summit, descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest before heading to Mweka Gate for your Kilimanjaro certificate.
